Elon Musk meets Tim Cook, says Apple never considered removing Twitter app

Twitter owner Elon Musk mentioned he went to Apple’s headquarters and met with Apple CEO Tim Cook in tweets on Wednesday.

The conference marks a significant de-escalation times immediately after Musk went on a tweet storm accusing Apple of threatening to pull the Twitter app from the Application Keep and posted then deleted a meme that suggested he would instead “go to war” than fork out Apple’s 30% platform fees.

“Very good dialogue. Among other issues, we solved the misunderstanding about Twitter possibly becoming taken out from the App Keep,” Musk tweeted. “Tim was clear that Apple never ever considered doing so.”

In a further tweet, Musk posted a shorter movie of a reflecting pool at the heart of Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

On Monday, Musk posted numerous tweets criticizing Apple and arguing that its Application Keep moderation procedures were being versus the spirit of cost-free speech, a complaint subsequently echoed by Republican lawmakers. More than the weekend, he mused that he might make his individual smartphone.

Musk also chafed versus Apple’s charges, which get involving 15% and 30% of electronic revenue through apps on iPhones. Apple stands to make dollars from Twitter if Musk succeeds in his strategy to noticeably develop Twitter subscription earnings, and these characteristics are marketed via the Twitter Apple iphone application.
